What Happened

During a recent heat wave, the insulation of a section of underground cable began to melt due to the above-normal temperatures. This caused an extremely dangerous situation and had the possibility of affecting many downtown businesses and residents.

We provided a 120kW diesel generator, associated cable & technicians to power the businesses & residences that were affected by the failed cable.  The generator provided power to the customers while the electric utility safely made repairs to the damaged cable.  What normally would be a lengthy disruption of power, the utilization of Prime Power Rentals generator allowed customers to continue to use their air conditioners avoiding an extremely uncomfortable evening.
